The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking a full-time, experienced person in airport property management to join the hard working, dynamic Airport Economic Development (AED) team as a Senior Manager of Properties. The Senior Manager of Properties reports to the VP of Airport Economic Development and serves as a key member of the AED team. This position is responsible for managing the properties and tenant relations program for RTAA outside commercial, general aviation, government, concessions, and airline tenants to enhance non-airline revenue and passenger experience.
For example, the position will manage the RTAA’s property programs -- including complex agreements for terminal space for passenger airlines, concessionaires, governmental operations, car rental firms, advertisers, other tenants; the leasing of facilities to outside commercial tenants; and general aviation including commercial aeronautical operators, box hangers and T-Hangars, and other airfield operators. This position also plans, organizes and reviews the work of the property staff.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in economic or real estate development, business administration, public administration, political science, economics, finance, marketing, or closely related field.
Experience: Five (5) years of full-time, progressively responsible, professional experience in airport property management, which includes two (2) years of supervisory experience in the public sector.
Licensing: A valid driver's license is required at the time of application.
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Comprehensive experience with airport concessions and airline agreements.
Additional Salary Information: Initial salary placement will be based upon experience and qualifications. This is an at-will, salaried position.
