Landrum & Brown, an internationally recognized leader in aviation and airport consulting, is currently seeking a Facility Planning Manager to join the expanding planning team in our Jacksonville, FL office.
Effectively supervises other staff; trains and evaluates employees; and plans and directs their work
Provides technical services related to aviation planning such as Master Plans, terminal area studies, airfield evaluations and similar projects
Prepares documents of findings
Prepares and delivers presentations of findings to clients and in public forums
Provides Project Management duties such as work scope, schedule and budget development and adherence
Participates and leads business development, including preparation of selection proposals and interviews
Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and key stakeholders to achieve projects goals and objectives
Provide on-site client support and assist in planning/design charrettes
Occasional air travel to our airport clients and between our U.S. and -global office network - is possible
Bachelor’s and/ or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Transportation Planning, or related degree is required.
Over ten (10) years of progressively increasing responsibility relative to airport planning.
Preferred Skills and Technical Expertise
Workability in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
Familiarity with FAA Advisory Circulars
Familiarity with IATA ADRM design criteria
Fundamental Project Management skills
Fundamental business development skills, or ability and desire to learn
Demonstrated quantitative analysis
Computer aided project development such as AutoCAD, or SketchUp Adobe Suite
