This supervisory employee develops, recommends, implements, monitors, and improves the weekend and sustained operation of the Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA), Mosinee, WI. A strong 24/7 operations program is essential to the safe and efficient operation of a commercial service airport. The Operations & Maintenance Supervisor is the highest level airport official regularly scheduled on weekends. This person must have the ability and experience to make the right decisions in the best interest of the airport.
REGULAR HOURS OF WORK: Thursday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Associate's or technical school degree from an accredited program in aviation management, emergency management, fire science, criminal justice, or a related field, and 2 years responsible airport operations and maintenance experience at a public, commercial service airport; OR equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Previous supervisory experience desirable.
The Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) is a regional, non-hub, Part 139 certificated airport located in Mosinee, WI, between the cities of Stevens Point and Wausau. The airport is owned by Marathon and Portage Counties and is governed by a joint airport board. It is served by three airlines, Delta, American, and United Airlines, and operates daily departures to Chicago, Minneapolis, and Detroit. The airport is equipped with five departure gates and four boarding bridges.
