Garmin AT, located in Salem, OR, is seeking an Aviation Parts and Equipment Coordinator to maintain parts programs, tool programs, and provide other resources to support aircraft maintenance, modification, and certification projects. Duties will include:
Acquiring, inspecting, receiving, and distribution of parts and materials
Research and qualify vendors based on value, quality, and reliability
Maintain inventory, identification, and segregation of stored parts and materials
Maintain tool and equipment calibration program
Maintain and/or arrange for maintenance of tools and equipment
Schedule and allocate parts and equipment resources to support aircraft projects
Coordinate and actively communicate with outside customers and vendors to meet schedule objectives
Coordinate and actively communicate with internal customers to meet project objectives
Participate in product development and project planning efforts
Assist with aircraft ground handling and detailing
Assist with aircraft maintenance and modification when required
Qualified candidates will possess a High School Diploma or GED, experience in an FAA 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station, and 3+ years of experience in maintaining parts and equipment for aircraft maintenance/modification or similar industry. Experience working and communicating with aviation OEM’s, dealer representatives, and vendors.
Preferred candidates will have:
10+ years of experience in aviation parts operations
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
Previous experience with EBis Maintenance Software
