The City of Fresno Airports Department is currently looking for a full time Airports Operations Officer to join our team. Under general supervision, the incumbent will perform administrative duties contributing to the efficiency of Airport operations; monitors and inspects the airfield, airport facilities, and personnel to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FM), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and airport policies and procedures. In addition, the Airports Operations Officer is responsible for coordinating airport operations to ensure safety and security of the public, tenants and airport staff. The current vacancy exists in the Airport/Operations Department located at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT).

TO QUALIFY, an applicant must have
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation
Management, Aviation Science, Airport Management or closely related field.

Eligible certified for consideration for this position will be required to successfully pass a Department interview, background investigation, and a Department of Justice fingerprint process prior to employment with the City of Fresno.
Possession of a valid driver's license is required at time of appointment. Candidates considered for hire must provide proof of a valid driver's license and current copy of their driving record.
Possession of a valid California Driver's License is required within sixty (60) days of appointment.
