Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of analytical and professional administrative tasks involved with the support of the airport management team, and operational support to management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develops and interprets policies and written procedures, conducts evaluations, recommends process improvements, and prepares operational and procedural manuals.
Monitors and evaluates current standards and procedures for effectiveness and applicability to current business practices.
Assists in social media and marketing efforts.
Confers with other departments, consultants and tenants and explains airport policies and procedures.
Assists the public by advising and providing information as needed.
Provides programmatic and operational support to Airport Director.
Performs related duties as required or assigned.
BENEFITS & SALARY INFORMATION
Annual salary range: $46,257.12-$57,821.92
Competitive compensation package with partially paid Health & Dental Insurance for employee from date of hire.
Addison participates in the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS) with a 7% employee contribution with 14% Town contribution at retirement. Fully vested after 5 years.
Optional deferred compensation 457 Plan with Town contribution after new hire trial period.
Tuition reimbursement program at 50% of tuition cost.
Education, Training, and Experience Guidelines
Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business, or related field; AND two (2) years’ experience in aviation, or administrative support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Ability to establish and maintain harmonious relations with fellow employees, Town officials, and outside contracts. Safe driving record. Clear criminal background check and clear pre-employment drug screen.
Knowledge of FAA regulations pertaining to public use airport facilities.
Research techniques, statistical methods and report writing.
Per FAA Advisory Circular 150/5210-20, selected candidate must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the English language.
Applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
Operating a computer including standard software.
Completing accurate and detailed analytical studies and formulating recommendations.
Identifying issues and interpreting technical and numerical information.
Performing a wide variety of administrative duties on behalf of a high-level administrator with little or minimal supervision.
Evaluating and developing improvements in operations, procedures, policies, or methods.
