The Intern will assist in a variety of research, documentation, and analysis to conduct internal and project related research. The Intern may also be responsible for the following: •Develop and maintain library and archival management systems •Gathering, compiling, and analyzing data and information in a variety of formats •Implement research methodologies and complete assignments to support project goals •Assist with update and maintenance of the Airport Master Databases •Draft and edit documents and presentations •Determine and fulfill project/assignment goals and objectives •Develop charts, graphs, and tables •Assists with formatting, printing, assembly, and distribution of proposals and final project documents •Provide support to other team members
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
The Intern must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Candidate must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Aviation and Aerospace Management, Aviation and Aerospace Science, or a related field and should have the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Intern should be in their Junior or Senior year and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
2-3 years of aviation experience (airport administration/operations, FBO, etc.)
Possession (or ability to obtain) a FAA Private Pilot’s certificate
Strong analytic and statistical skills
Certified Member designation from the American Association of Airport Executives
