|Performance Objectives •Develop critical relationships with internal/external stakeholders and business partners specific to all risk management exposure issues; and assist in the de-sign and implementation of strategic risk management services and solutions to align to the Airport Strategic Plan and strategy of the VP of Risk Management. •Assist in the creation and implementation of the Risk Management training and development strategy for Board programs, positions, compliance and staff development. •Assist and participate in the Risk Management department’s role and execution in emergency response, business continuity, disaster recovery, crisis management planning and maximize operational execution and performance. •Manage Risk Analyst resource pool utilization; benchmark Risk Management services, benefits and features to appropriate industry organizations; and recommend staffing levels, propose capital spending projects and make recommendations to improve customer service and/or control costs. •Identify opportunities for improvement for all Board policies as it relates to reducing human capital losses, liability and disruption of services. •Work directly with the AVP of Risk Management to manage the comprehensive insurance program for the Airport, and solicit and renew coverages for all Board policies. •Manage the successful delivery of all ERM projects under the direction of the AVP of Risk Management. •Work directly with the AVP of Risk Management to manage the implementation and operation of a comprehensive Risk Management Information System (RMIS) and Claims Management Systems; and review detailed reporting to analyze risk trends and make recommendations for operational improvements. |
Position Summary Under general direction of the Assistant Vice President of Risk Management, performs professional-level work associated with the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive risk management program. Responsibilities are to cultivate and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders and business partners on risk management exposure issues? Identifies, evaluates and pursues opportunities to implement innovative strategic risk management services and solutions. Promotes the integration of the Risk Management Department with other departments through the identification and delivery of realistic services and solutions.

Requirements •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Legal, Safety, Engineering, Finance, or other business related field. •Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above. •Seven (7) years’ experience with a strong focus in managing risk management programs. (Safety claims). •Five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience. •Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
