Are you a senior consultant interested in driving the growth of ICF’s Aircraft business? You will be based in our New York office and will work closely with other members of the Aircraft Practice, both in the US and globally. You will be responsible for supporting the strategic management and delivery of our asset advisory services, with an emphasis on aviation advisory and consulting, financial and cash flow forecasting, and market assessments.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of asset advisory experience in external-facing roles with contacts at multiple airlines, lessors, and manufacturers. Prior consulting or investment advisory experience is required.

Participate and lead as a member of a consulting team on projects, which typically include developing, managing and analyzing detailed business plans, forecasting and financial models, other quantitative and qualitative analyses, as well as developing client commercial strategies and managing their implementation, including maintenance cash flow forecasts for ABS structures and tangible and intangible asset appraisals.
Synthesize and communicate recommendations and insights both internally and externally
Structure and manage assignments, including outlining and drafting key deliverables, defining analyses, directing consultants and taking responsibility for final work product
Manage consultant project teams to deliver engagements, retaining ownership for overall quality, timeliness and accuracy.
Manage and grow client relationships by delivering excellent value, consistency, quality and dependability
Ensure quality of delivery and client satisfaction
Intellectual Capital Development:
Support updating of market intelligence/transaction databases
Support updating of aircraft and engine bluebooks
Work on existing financial models used to assist investors or lessors in assessing deals or pricing analysis for aircraft lease or sales transactions, in addition to creating bespoke financial models if required;
Mentor junior staff for growth and development, serving as role model for consulting skills and transferring company knowledge.
Work effectively in teams and lead where appropriate
Leverage existing relationships with airlines, leasing companies, and lenders to identify their business challenges and present ICF solutions
Establish and maintain strong relationships with manager counterparts at client organizations
Work closely with vice presidents and principals to support new business development initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance existing client relationships
Deliver qualified consulting/advisory leads and lead sales efforts on key identified leads; structure and draft proposals, including written materials, pricing and presentations
Consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Master’s Degree a plus, preferably with concentration in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or Aerospace
12+ years demonstrated expertise in commercial aircraft finance and/or leasing
Experience working effectively with technical and commercial business stakeholders.
Expertise in Microsoft Office suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, and exposure to quantitative model development, financial model development and analysis, and general relational database management systems.
Ability to travel
Demonstrated success winning & delivering large and strategic projects
Experience in external-facing roles with preferably at airlines, lessors and manufacturers is a plus
ISTAT appraisal certification
Financial modeling expertise with aviation focus
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong quantitative and statistical aptitude including Monte Carlo simulations, complex financial modeling, discounted cash flow analysis, and ability to oversee and improve financial analyses
Ability to simplify complex commercial issues and articulate these to clients in a coherent and structured manner
Ability to work under tight time constraints with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
Prioritizes and balances the need for client satisfaction, successful execution, cost control and profitability
