The San Luis Valley Regional Airport is seeking a self-starter to join our team. This is your opportunity to learn and participate in the operations of an Airport! This position performs a variety of tasks including maintenance of terminal, runway upkeep, daily inspections for safety and maintenance, repairs and maintenance of facilities, radio contact with aircraft and much more. Candidate will have some equipment operation experience. The right person must have good communication skills over the radio and in person. Computer skills are a must! Should be proficient in Microsoft Office and e-mail. The airport is a 365-day per year environment which requires rotating weekends and holidays. This position is critical to the safety of aircraft. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least two (2) years of experience in maintenance or operations of airports or similar environment
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
The San Luis Valley Regional Airport provides commercial air service to the vast reaches of the San Luis Valley. The essential air service program subsidizes daily flights to Denver and Albuquerque where our residents can connect to the world.
