The Program Manager for AAAE Services will be responsible for managing and advancing customer relationships while serving as the dedicated program manager for a growing line of business. The successful candidate will have a combination of program/project management skills and business development acumen. The program manager will interface directly with customers, external partners and with various internal stakeholders (accounting/finance, technology development, sales etc.) to advance customer interests.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and advance customer relationships by combining experienced business analysis acumen, customer focus, operations management, and collaboration
Ability to liaise with high level external partners including Uber, Lyft and various startups
Conduct detailed financial reconciliation and reporting for program customers
Distill market needs and translate them into clearly defined business requirements
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless execution of program objectives
Develop program scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Schedule and lead system demos to potential customers and conduct appropriate follow up
Measure program performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Perform risk management to minimize program risks
Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation
Identify and reach critical goals and objectives related to profitable service delivery
Collaborate with other internal business owners to advance the association’s overall services offerings
Education, prior work experience, and specialized skills and knowledge:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Business Graduate degree preferred
Must have 5- 8 years’ business manager, program/project manager, or similar experience
Experience in aviation operations solutions, training, process management, or technology a plus
Experience analyzing data and distilling for client uses
Strong customer service, negotiation, and team-working skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel
PMP certification is a plus
Experience with contract management a plus
Must be innovative, patient, and articulate
Some travel is required
