Professional, supervisory, administrative and technical work directing all activities relating to a major airport division. Work includes planning, assigning and reviewing the work of lower level managers and may include a staff of professional, technical and clerical employees. Work includes establishing and monitoring management controls for assigned operational area and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations pertaining to airport operations where applicable; and related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications 1. Five (5) years professional administrative experience in urban, regional, city, or aviation planning with emphasis on developing and implementing Master Plans in conjunction with Governmental entities. This experience must have been at an exempt (salaried) level. At least two (2) years of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity. 2. A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Planning, Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.* 3. A valid driver's license.* Applicants must be eligible for coverage under the airport's auto liability insurance policy NOTE: A Master's degree may be substituted for one (1) year of the required non-supervisory experience.
