Plans, directs and supervises day-to-day activities of La Crosse Regional Airport (LSE) ensuring safe, efficient and effective operations. Ensures day to day activities are performed within the regulatory requirements with a focused attention on safety, security, business operations, financial constraints and longer term strategic plan accomplishments providing a financially efficient, safe and convenient environment for public and private air travel and related business activities.
Hiring salary range of $102,066 to $116,896 with a top of the range at $133,890 (salary commensurate with qualifications). Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Airport Management, Business, Economic, Law or Public Administration with 6 years of related Airport experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
Be able to pass a rigorous criminal history records and background check to obtain and maintain a Security Identification Area (SIDA) badge.
Have the ability to acquire and maintain Federal Level secret level security clearance
Possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license
Certified Member of American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) or AAE designation must be obtained within one year of hire.
