The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority is seeking an individual with professional experience in a complex, diverse, retail/commercial property management program to join our dynamic Airport Economic Development team as the Property Specialist II – Concessions. The Property Specialist II – Concessions reports to, and provides highly-responsible, professional-level staff assistance to, the Senior Manager of Properties. The Property Specialist II – Concessions is responsible for optimizing the concessions program at Reno-Tahoe International Airport through the execution of strategic objectives and tactical plans designed to keep the concession offerings fresh, and to enhance revenue per enplaned passenger through strategies to attract and retain business. The nature of the position requires the ability to organize and direct complex projects and programs, develop tactical plans to achieve goals, identify and implement innovative and efficient solutions; the ability to foster effective working relationships; excellent business communication skills; and sound judgment and discretion in determining optimal strategies.
Minimum Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, Economics, Aviation Management, or a Bachelor's of Science Degree in a closely related field. An equivalent combination of directly related education and professional, complex, diverse, retail/commercial property management program experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the Bachelor's Degree (e.g., one year of full-time experience will be considered equivalent to thirty (30) semester or (45) quarter units of college course work).
Required Experience: Two (2) years of full-time, professional experience managing a concession program for a medium or larger sized airport. OR Two (2) years of full-time, professional experience managing a comprehensive business function for a medium or larger sized airport. OR Four (4) years of full-time, professional experience in the operation, administration, economic analysis, and/or marketing of a large, complex, diverse, retail/commercial property management program, which must include at least two (2) years of direct tenant solicitation, outreach and relations. OR An equivalent combination of the above referenced experience may be considered.
Required Licensing: A valid driver's license is required at the time of application.
Additional Salary Information: Entry Salary: $64,525 - $81,302 annually, with opportunity for additional merit-based increases up to a range maximum of $98,078 annually. Initial salary placement will be based upon experience and qualifications. This is a salaried position and is exempt from overtime.
