Under supervision of the Airport Emergency Operations Manager, the Airport Emergency Management Coordinator in Planning oversees all elements associated with the various planning efforts and initiatives for the Charlotte Douglas International Airport Emergency Management Division.
Oversight and development of additional plans include the Airport Emergency Plan (AEP), Airport Emergency Operations Center Plan, Terminal Evacuation Plan, Communicable Disease Response Plan, Family Assistance Plan, Continuity of Operations and other plans as determined by CLT Executive Staff and Leadership.
High School diploma/GED with five (5) years of relevant work experience; or an Associate’s degree with three (3) years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the essential job duties
Completion of Incident Command System (ICS) certifications (at minimum) including:
100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 700 / 800
Professional Development Series (PDS) and/or Advanced Professional Development Series (APDS) certification
Experience / familiarity with Airport Operations & FAA Part-139 requirements
