The Jackson Hole Airport is seeking an Intern for a 6-month period to work with our Operations and Security teams. This position offers a broad exposure to airport operations and security in a unique setting at the only commercial service airport located in a national park.
Duties may include airside and landside operations, airfield inspection, fuel farm operations, ARFF duties, maintenance (grounds and building), assisting the Airport Security Coordinator, assisting in the coordination of parking lot management, and many other duties as assigned. In short, the Jackson Hole Airport is a dynamic organization and you may be involved in any number of projects, planned or unplanned, based on business needs.
The preferred candidate will be either a graduate of or in the process of studying for a bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Airport Management. Excellent people skills, teamwork and a desire to learn are essential. Our motto is “People Helping People” and we are looking for someone who is able to embrace that work ethic. This is a 6-month position that pays $18/hour.
