Manages and directs all airport maintenance and operations functions at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport. Ensure the safety of arriving and departing public and all aircraft using the facilities. Monitor and coordinate all operational activity occurring on the Airside Operations Area ensuring compliance with FAA Part 139, TSA 1542 and Airport regulations and policies. All work is performed under general direction of the Transportation Director. This is a full time position. Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or closely related field and 3 years supervisory experience in airport operations, maintenance and safety to ensure FAA Part 139, TSA 1542 and Airport regulations and policies. Southwest Georgia Regional Airport (ABY) is a non-hub commercial service airport with approximately 30,000 annual operations and 39 based aircraft. The airport hosts one scheduled airline - Delta Connection Carrier Endeavor. Endeavor operates three daily flights to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport with 50-seat regional jets.
