The Director of Capital Programming is responsible for overseeing and implementing strategic initiatives for the JMAA’s Airport Planning and the Capital Improvement Program. This position serves as the senior technical expert and as a member of the senior leadership team, acts as the primary liaison to governmental agencies, contractors, and procurement and airport officials during design and implementation.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in aviation planning, construction management, engineering architecture, environmental planning, or a related field is required.
· Ten years of experience in facility management or airfield management, managing complex projects is required.
· An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may substitute ten years of experience.
Must posses a certification or licensure in Professional Engineering or Professional Architecture.
Must possess a valid Mississippi State driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a background check and maintain security clearance. Must obtain Class II Driving privileges within 90 days of hire date.
May be required to work overtime and weekends.
