Intern II, Airport

This program is intended to provide a student/intern an all-around introduction to professional airport management and operations at a public use general aviation/commercial service airport. At the end of the internship period, the intern is intended to be able to demonstrate adequate knowledge of airport management and operations. The hiring range for this position is $14.00 - $16.00, depending on qualifications and experience. Position will close to applicants on: 2/22/21 at 4:30 P.M. M.S.T.

Education and/or formal training: Currently enrolled as a junior or senior undergraduate student at an accredited four-year college or university, or a master’s program student majoring in aviation management, aviation technology or closely aviation-related program; or graduated with a degree in aviation management, aviation technology, public administration, business or closely aviation-related program from an accredited four year college or university within the past 2 years with a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA required. Experience: Previous work experience in an aviation/airport environment preferred as well as administrative and customer service knowledge and/or experience. Licensure and Certifications: Must possess a valid driver license. |
